Teaching seminar and Convention classes throughout the United States and Canada is one thing I enjoy a great deal. Not only does it give me the opportunity to paint with a lot of different people; it also gives me the opportunity to see many different areas.
For the most part I teach color theory seminars. One type is my Five-Day Intensive Seminar. Class size is limited to a small number of students and individual instruction is given so each student is able to concentrate on what they need to learn. Topics include Identifying Colors, Controlling Value and Intensity; Understanding and using Color Schemes; Lighting and Shadow; Choosing Backgrounds and much, much more. These classes are offered both in my home studio and as sponsored seminars in other areas of the country. Contact me or the seminar sponsor for additional information. Another type of color theory seminar is a shortened version of the one described above. It is usually taught as a three-day seminar for Chapters and Studios/Shops.
Project seminars and classes are taught for painting groups and conventions. Most projects are sharp focus still life or florals in oil or heat set oils. For more information on sponsoring a seminar in your area, please contact me by Email or regular mail. I’ll look forward to painting with you.
